NHL blackouts, explained
Out-of-market games stream through NHL Power Play in the ESPN app; a team's games are blacked out there inside its local television territory, and games on ESPN, ABC, TNT or truTV are shown on those networks rather than in Power Play. In-market fans watch on the team's local channel, its app, or over the air where the team has moved to broadcast television.
Out of market: NHL Power Play on ESPN
NHL Power Play is included with ESPN Unlimited or a pay-TV login to the ESPN app, with more than 1,050 out-of-market games and both teams' commentary. ESPN had not published a standalone price at review time.
